Trevor at Premise Mortgage is the real deal. He walked me through my loan options in plain English, answered every call and text the same day, and beat every other lender I talked to on rate. No surprise fees at closing either. Whenever something came up, he had it handled before it turned into a problem.

I'd been through this before with a different broker, and that experience was unsatisfactory enough that my expectations this time around were low. Trevor Levine at Premise Mortgage not only exceeded them, he overshot them entirely.

I work a full-time job and a portion of my income comes from self-employment, so my documentation is never as simple as a single W-2. On top of that, my file landed with a tough underwriter who kept coming back with conditions. Trevor took what could have been a complicated, stressful process and simplified it, and he's the reason it got done.

What set him apart is that he took the lead rather than handing me a list of problems. Every time a new request came in, he explained what underwriting was actually asking for and gave me clear, concise instructions on precisely what I needed to supply, no guesswork, no back-and-forth. He worked directly with underwriting to get my self-employment income documented properly and advocated for my file instead of just relaying bad news. He carried the majority of the work himself, which freed me up to focus on other areas of my life that needed attention during an already busy stretch.

Communication was constant. He was available both evenings and weekends, so I always knew where things stood and never had to sit on a question overnight.

I closed on time, and the final numbers matched what Trevor quoted me at the beginning. Anyone can handle a clean file. Trevor handled a hard one, and handled it well. If your income comes from more than one source or you're expecting a complicated loan, he's who you want.

I'd also highly recommend him to anyone who values their time and wants to walk away from their home buying experience feeling satisfied and happy rather than exhausted. I'd work with him again without hesitation.
